Did you know 4,000 children & 5,300 older people in North Cornwall are living on the edge of poverty?

When you have no financial safety net, a sudden crisis such as redundancy, bereavement, illness or benefit delay can leave you unable to feed yourself or your family.

Wadebridge Foodbank is part of a national network of foodbanks, giving out emergency food to people in Wadebridge and the surrounding rural area who are in crisis and have no where else to turn.

The Foodbank provides three days worth of nutritionally balanced food, in exchange for a foodbank voucher, from it’s drop-in centre. It also provides a free hot drink, a listening ear, and additional support where needed to help break the cycle of poverty. Click on the links above for more information.

Members of the community donate second hand furniture, white goods and household items in good condition to the StoreHouse, and these are given free of charge to someone in need, or sold for a reasonable price in our small charity shop.
